HEALTHY FOOD FOR OLDER PERSON

In this, according to me healthy food is good for health specially for older person. Because we have to take more care for them. 
So, I want to give 07 simple dietary guideline to be healthy in older age.

  1. To be healthy you have to balance your food including physical activity. You should must take care of your meal portion, size and you have to be active towards your food like vegetable salad and fruits.
  2. The food you have to include ( beans, cereals, dal, green vegetables, gram etc. ) Choose high fibre and protein whenever you see.
  3. Now a days there are various types of fruits and vegetables are available in market some are fresh, dried, or frozen and the most important thing is the color of the product. Such fruits and vegetable are oranges, apples, bananas, carrots, sweet potato, cauliflower, cabbage, spinach, broccoli, sweet corn, peppers.
  4. Why we should take protein foods ?                                                                                                 Because they keep our muscle healthy and make new cells. To stay fit and strong by eating a variety of protein rich food each day.                                                                                               Some sources are poultry, meat and fish trouts, fresh Tina, keepers, salmon and sardines are packed with heart healthy omega 3 fats.                                                                                          Eggs and nuts helps in boosting the protein in your diet.
  5. Dairy food helps in keeping your bone healthy by serving milk, yogurt, or cheese each day as a lower fat dairy foods. Dairy food included calcium & vitamin- D.
  6. If I talk about alcohol, it should be enjoyed in Moderation. The recommendation for women is not mere than 11 standard drinks a week, and for men it should be not more than 17 standard drinks a week.
  7. I want to add some fibre rich foods helps to move regularly, lowering the risk of constipation.         Sources of fibre are:-   
  • Fruits and vegetables.
  • Pulse vegetables such as beans, peas and lentils.
  • For breakfast, such as shredded wheat, bran flakes, weetabin, porridge.
  • 100% wholemeal or wholegrain bread.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      At last, I want to conclude that breakfast can be a super way to get a high fiber start of the day.  And fibre and protein both helps to keep healthy in old age.                                                                                                                                                                                                                  For Exciting Offers!
